Global Realty

At first, Nathan Galer wasn’t sure how the FJF scheme could help him.

“We were sceptical at first about the programme, due to the irregular placement process and the nature of unemployed individuals.”

6 months later, when asked if he was happy with the placements he has received from us and whether or not he would consider taking on further employees, he replied:

“Yes, on all counts.”

Nathan and his wife Ricky are the co-managers of the property and sales company Global Realty, just one of many clients we have here at HTCIC.

The company was started 7 years ago with an ethos similar in many ways to our own; a focus on a fair and personal relationship with its clients (in this case landlords and home owners.

Global Realty now has a successful business including two London offices, one in St. John’s Wood and another in Childs Hill.

This they say is largely owed to their unique marketing strategy. Global Realty likes to inspire confidence and good-feeling, which has kept them in good standing with their clients for many years. But with tough economic times hitting us all, the job market has suffered perhaps the most, and employers like Nathan and Ricky have found it difficult to find employees who share their passion and ideals. This is where we at HTCIC come in.

We were able to provide Global Realty with a number of capable applicants, some of which are now working permanently and looking at a bright future with the company. Applicants such as Shabana Khan, who has found happiness in a permanent position within the Global Realty family and Daniel Mackae, a negotiator with the company; who, finding himself unemployed and with a baby on the way, claims that it was the FJF scheme and the job it provided that “drastically changed (his) life”.

Despite a lack of experience, Daniel was given a chance to prove himself and progress in a working environment. There he has been able to flourish and learn many new skills along the way which will continue to aid him in his life and in the future. The opportunity provided him by the FJF scheme has given him a new and permanent career and he couldn’t be more pleased.

Thanks to candidates like Daniel and Shabana and employers such as Global Realty, HTCIC is able to make a real difference to people’s lives in a permanent way. Without the work we do here and the willingness to succeed shown by our candidates, many individuals who are now in successful and rewarding careers would never have had the chance.

So, when asked what advice he had to give for those of you out there who may currently be suffering in a similar position to how he was living not too long ago, what advice did Daniel have?

Simple. “Never give up.”
